To unknow is to walk back the path from knowing to not-yet-knowing. Its effect is to unload emotional charge from an idea. A "strong" feeling thus becomes just a feeling.

How to unknow?

Two people are required. One who expresses her self, one who lets herself be impressed.
The one expressing expresses a belief, an opinion, a statement. The other person asks: How do you know that for sure? How do you know that what you just expressed, is true?

The emotional charge can be a feeling : it is important to me that this is true. Or the emotional charge can be experienced in action: i want to convince you that this is true.

The person expressing now switches to express the emotional charge that is loaded on the previously expressed belief, opinion, or statement. The first question is : now that you expressed the belief, opinion, statement; is the charge still inside you? Perhaps by expressing, the charge has already come out? You can feel or see this when the person expressing starts to laugh about their own expression - as if they just experienced an instant relief.

If the emotional charge is still there, the person expressing now expresses her feelings. Again the other person asks: How do you know that for sure? How do you know that what you just expressed, is true?

In this case the label, the emotional charge, is on the emotional charge itself. For example: i feel angry about my statement. Then the other person asks: how do you know you are angry? How do you know it is anger that you feel?

Continue this dialogue until relief shows and the charge is gone.
